Aldo Paino is a Marine Surveyor and licensed All Lines Adjuster, holding Bachelor degrees in Naval & Maritime Sciences and in Business Administration, knowledgeable in all aspects of the marine and transportation industries, as well as on the current international marine safety and environmental regulations. Besides his experience at sea, he brings to Braemar Steege over eighteen years of Marine Surveying & Insurance Adjusting experience and proven management skills as a senior regional surveyor for Latin America. His responsibilities as surveyor and adjuster include conducting damage surveys, appraising losses, investigating claims, approving repair estimates, and negotiating settlements for clients. Aldo is an expert in handling Marine Cargo insurance claims, Hull & Machinery claims, Fishing vessel Condition and Valuation surveys, Risk Assessments on offshore installations and security surveys on warehouses and marinas

Jose Antonio got his Law degree (J.D.) from the Universidad Católica Andres Bello in 2005. In 2005 and after two year internship with MENPA - top 10 Venezuelan Law firm - he joined Desarrollos Delta - a Venezuelan Real Estate Company - as their general legal advisor. From 2007 until 2009 he graduated from two different LL.m; one in Transnational Legal Practice jointly from the Universitat Salzburg and the University of the Pacific; and the other in Energy Business and Regulation from la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. This graduate education was in both of the cases followed by two internships in Madrid, the first at Cuatrecasas and the second at Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo - both top 10 law firms of Spain.

In Cuatrecasas he intensely participated in the defense of Viesgo from Centrica that alleged a collective abuse of dominant position in the Spanish electricity market. While in Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo was part of the group that constantly provided legal consultancy for various issues to Iberdrola - Spain's biggest Electricity producer.

Since joining the Miami office of Braemar Steege as General Loss Adjuster in September 2010, Jose Antonio has started handling liability and subrogation cases in various Latin American jurisdictions.
