Personnel biographies

A graduate in Mexican Law, Eduardo spent more than 7 years as the Risk Manager of the public electricity utility LUZ Y FUERZA DEL CENTRO. He joined Steege Kingston Mexico in 2005 as Commercial Director and was responsible for the successful promotion of the office not only within Mexico but also in Central America and the Caribbean. In 2006 he assumed the position of CEO, overseeing Braemar Steege's wide range of professional activities, including loss adjusting, consultancy and risk engineering in energy, power, industrial and civil engineering, onshore and offshore property, marine hull and cargo, civil liability.

A graduate in Architecture, Connie acquired professional experience in both the Government sector and private companies, specialising in the design of facilities (schools, hospitals, hotels, factories, etc). She joined Braemar Steege in 2000 and since then she has focused mainly on onshore physical damage and liability (environmental pollution).

Luis holds a B.A.in Administrative Data Processing and now runs our Monterrey office. Before joining our company in September 2008, he built up 15 years of claims-focused experience and occupied the post of Senior Accounts Manager at major insurance company Seguros Banorte Generali, Monterrey, Mexico.

Luis specializes in claims involving ports and terminals, civil liability, inland transport, yachts, machinery breakdown and fire, inter alia.

Luis was heavily involved in adjusting claims arising from hurricane Alex which affected the northern States of Nuevo Leon, Coahuila and Tamaulipas.

A Control and Automation Engineer, He gained professional experience in pipelines and soil treatment (topography and gasometry studios) Francisco joined Braemar Steege in 2004 to attend Property claims mainly.

The Froy's insurance career includes a wide acquaintance about claim area and the excellent attention to Insurers, Insurance Agents, Adjusters and even the Third Part Affected involved in many claims from the Property Division. He joined Braemar Steege in 2008 to give qualified attention in diverse claims.

With a Degree in Accountancy, he joined Braemar Steege in 2007, as accounting auxiliary for the Corporate Tax Department. By mid 2009, he entered into the Marine Area, handling Hull, Machinery and Cargo Losses. Moreover, he has contributed in Energy and Property claims.

Actuary graduate, devoted in Property claims, in charge of handling physical damage losses and providing support in the Logistics and Data Base coordination for catastrophic events managed by Braemar Steege.

Daniel Mendez Corella holds a B.A. in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications with a speciality in antennas: he joined the engineering team of Braemar Steege in 2008.

Since then he has participated in loss adjusting inspections in areas damaged by natural disasters, namely hydraulic infrastructure, roads, bridges and drains.

Currently he is attending to claims regarding onshore property and energy, mainly relating to electrical sub stations and transmission lines belonging to Mexican utility companies.

A Chartered Loss Adjuster, Tony is an experienced Construction and Subsidence/Perils Project Manager who recently joined our Mexico City office as Senior Adjuster.

In his previous employment with GAB Robins UK Ltd. Tony handled a portfolio of Construction/CAR losses on a 'cradle-to-grave' basis, working from home and operating throughout the London / South East regions as required. He handled predominantly Contractors All Risks (CAR) contract works claims, acting as a Consultant to the Major & Complex Team, assisting on claims of several million pounds in value; He has been exposed to various 'consequential loss' extensions to policy wordings as well as policy limitations, including design exclusion wordings. He also handled several 'theft of plant' / 'damage to plant' claims; including one involving damage to a specialist excavator / piling machine with additional costs of working cover.

Additionally, he handled losses for the larger and more complex property / business interruption losses (e.g. supermarket fire, accidental damage to hospital roof parapet and services, lightning strike to trains, etc.) as well as CAR losses for Property Owner Groups; contractor's liability losses and losses where issues arose as to whether the CAR or PL policy should apply. He also dealt with claims involving ships colliding with jetties, a claim for damage to a motorway flyover crash barrier and he provided technical input following a substantial fire at a London University.

Tony retains skills gained whilst serving at sea as a marine engineer and is therefore looking to become involved in claims involving marine engineering / offshore oil & gas, construction, etc.

Carlos joined Braemar Steege in 2011, in charge of technical management and the administration of government accounts. In his experience as an adjuster he has developed techniques to achieve excellent results and has reduced response times.

He has coordinated and implemented a Fast Track Loss system with a response time of 24 hours for high volumes of losses, attention and followup of various matters required by Brokers, litigation and/or matters regarding the CONDUSEF. Coordinating the sale of salvage material.

Preparation of statistics regarding the losses of various internal and external clients. Damage calculations.

Guillermo started his working career in a health care company, carrying out administrative functions.

Subsequently he joined the insurance industry, carrying out activities such as administrative assistant, registering incident information, administration of adjustments and collection of preliminary information for each file in the system.

He commenced work with Braemar Steege in 2011, participating in the damage inspection of dwellings in various states in Mexico, as a result of meteorological phenomena. At present he attends to property claims, mainly concerned with robbery of electronic equipment, cash and valuables, civil liability and transport.

Juan Carlos joined Braemar Steege in 2011, carrying out Loss Adjusting work, using his knowledge of Civil Liability and government entities.

He has participated in the international market, carrying out surveys, handling claims regarding Transport, Machinery Breakdown and Integral Port Administration including ports throughout Mexico and dealing with theft of merchandize in marshalling yards, maritime signalling, sinking and damage to vessels.
