Personnel biographies

Ma. Gabriela graduated with a degree in Public Accounting in 2002, has a Master in Finance. She's been in the Energy section for more than 7 years, including Petrolera Estatal Venezolana Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), working on Risk, Finance and Insurance departments. Among her profesional skills, her experience in managing work related to administration and sinister/losses that involves insurance Claims, being under her responsibility the insurance policies on the areas of Property, Well Control, Construction Risk, General Civil Responsibility and Loss of Profits/Business Interruption.

Throughout her carrier, other than her studies in many fields such as, Risk Administration and Transportation, Marine Insurance, Well Control Insurance, among others, Ma. Gabriela has executed successful economic projects, which have included Costs Valuations and Unit Price Analysis.

She joined Braemar Steege Venezuela in early 2009.

Giuseppe joined Steege in 2007 as COO, Venezuela. He focuses on surveying and loss adjusting for marine (hull and cargo), energy and property risks. Giuseppe frequently provides technical support for other regional offices in his areas of special expertise - well control (oil and gas) and electrical engineering.

Edgar graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2007, with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. Throughout his career, he has focused his studies in oil geomechanics, acquiring expertise in down-hole stability calculations, control of well incidents, natural gas distribution/transmission systems, as well as off-shore structural design of semi-submersible units. In 2008, Edgar began a post-graduate program specializing in off-shore engineering.

Since joining the Caracas office of Braemar Steege as Energy Loss Adjuster, in July 2010, Edgar has dealt with numerous losses involving COW incidents, failure of oil pipelines, seepage and pollution, and marine cargo losses. Additionally, he has been directly involved in the analysis of several Machinery Breakdown incidents related to the Electrical Power Generation Industry.
